"A great family gathering venue. We had our family get-together lunch here on Sunday. It was a really lovely experience. The staff were friendly and attentive and dealt with individual needs brilliantly. The food was cooked and served promptly and perfectly. Big plates or small were more than adequate to satisfy our needs. We thought the house wine exceptional value. The traffic in the village is awful while the bridge is being restored; but the Merryfellow has a good sized car park and there was no traffic noise in the pub; so the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable"
